He's back... and he's making even worse decisions than before! In today's episode, we are catching up with everyone's favorite gold-obsessed ruler, King Midas. You’d think after almost starving to death from the "Golden Touch," he would just sit quietly and stay far away from the gods. But nope!
This time, Midas wanders into a massive musical showdown between Pan (playing his syrinx reeds) and Apollo (playing his golden lyre). When the mountain god Tmolus crowns Apollo the winner, Midas makes the zero-brain-cell decision to yell that the contest is rigged. Big mistake. Huge.
Apollo decides that if Midas has such terrible taste in music, he shouldn't have human ears anymore—and ZAP! Midas walks away with a pair of fuzzy, twitchy donkey ears.
